Terms of Service

Last updated: September 10, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to the Flou website and, where no separate signed agreement applies, use of Flou. By accessing the website or using Flou, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If your organization signs an evaluation, pilot, order, or customer agreement with Flou, that agreement controls if it conflicts with these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Authority

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use Flou for a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf. "You" includes that organization and its authorized users.

2. Service Access and Commercial Terms

Requesting information does not create a customer relationship or guarantee access. Any evaluation, pilot, subscription, or other service scope, duration, support, pricing, data handling, and exit terms will be confirmed directly before participation. No material commitment is created without an agreed written arrangement.

3. Accounts and Authorized Users

  • You must provide accurate account and organization information.
  • You are responsible for protecting account credentials and devices used to access Flou.
  • You must promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access or misuse.
  • Organization administrators are responsible for authorizing users, assigning appropriate roles, and removing access when it is no longer needed.

4. Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms and any applicable written agreement, Flou grants authorized users a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable right to access the service for the organization's internal business operations during the applicable evaluation, pilot, or subscription period.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not, and may not help another person to:

  • Use Flou unlawfully or to violate another person's rights.
  • Access another organization's account or data without authorization.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, probe, or attempt to bypass service security or access controls.
  • Upload malicious code or content you do not have the right to use.
  • Reverse engineer or copy the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
  • Use automated methods that place an unreasonable load on the service.

6. Your Content and Responsibilities

You retain ownership of content you or your organization submits to Flou. You grant Flou and its service providers a limited right to host, copy, transmit, process, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service and fulfill the applicable agreement. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content and instruct us to process it.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your content, user assignments, project decisions, and any action taken based on information shown in Flou.

7. AI-Assisted and Extracted Information

Some Flou features may use automated or AI-assisted processing to extract, summarize, or organize document information. Results may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. You must review important results against the original documents and use qualified professional judgment before relying on them.

8. No Legal, Safety, or Compliance Advice

Flou is a workflow and coordination tool. It does not provide legal, engineering, accounting, safety, licensing, permitting, training, or regulatory advice, and it does not guarantee compliance. You remain responsible for applicable laws, codes, contracts, permits, licenses, training, inspections, workplace safety, and professional review. Flou is not a substitute for required safety systems, official records, or qualified personnel.

9. Fees and Service Terms

Public marketing prices describe Flou's current standard monthly account-capacity tiers. The applicable subscription price, billing schedule, cancellation right, and refund term must be stated in a separate written agreement accepted before a payment obligation begins. The website alone does not create a payment obligation.

10. Flou Ownership and Feedback

Flou, including its software, design, documentation, and branding, is owned by the operator of Flou or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited access right above, no rights are transferred to you. If you provide feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.

11. Third-Party Services

Flou may rely on third-party hosting, storage, analytics, communications, monitoring, and document processing services. Their services may be subject to separate terms. We are not responsible for third-party products that you independently choose or connect to Flou.

12. Availability and Changes

The service may be changed, limited, interrupted, or discontinued. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material changes, but we do not promise continuous availability, a particular feature roadmap, or that every error will be corrected.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to address security risks, unlawful activity, material misuse, nonpayment under an applicable agreement, or a violation of these Terms. You may stop using the website at any time. Termination, data export, and deletion obligations should be stated in the applicable written service agreement.

14. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website, service, and evaluation features are provided "as is" and "as available." Flou disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every project or regulatory requirement. Some laws may not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flou will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill arising from the website or service. Any monetary liability cap and allocation of risk for an evaluation, pilot, or paid service must be stated in the applicable written agreement and confirmed through professional legal review.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the service and legal requirements change. We will post the revised Terms and update the date above. If an update materially affects an active service arrangement, the applicable agreement will determine how notice and acceptance are handled.

17. General Terms

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent, except as permitted by an applicable written agreement.
